A Prelude's WarningA Preludes Warning
By Anastasia Magloire
With wanderlust your dreams collide
And come undone before the tide.
A perfect fit the pieces find
But break apart within the mind
And never get the chance to rhyme.
You covet keys of fate and space
The ones that dictate time and place
Eat Edens fruit; forbidden this
Unless you wish to feel deaths kiss
And when you do the snake will hiss
For ignorance is truly bliss
Old gears once rusted turn so fast
Whats fleeting is not meant to last
And only when were soaked in sin
Shall times eternal play begin
We play our parts but try in vain
To change the tragic roles we gain
Instead a fallen angel slain
A demons laugh shall be her pain
For when she tries to fly, to sing
Her wings are cut
Lips sewn with string
What once was pure is stained from greed
So of my warnings please take heed
For cloaked in seven deadly hate
These poisoned daggers watch and wait.
They cannot penetrate?
It must have
