So many happenings, so little time.
I was in D.C. when I heard about Michael, and me and my mom stood frozen for 10 minutes before it sunk in, no lie. Michael Jackson wasn't big in my generation, but I know almost ALL his songs, with and without the Jackson 5. It's safe to say the world feels emptier, and has definitely lost some of its flare.

I'm so heartbroken I can't even cry, all I feel is this pain in my chest. ;__; There was controversy surrounding Mike, but it wasn't proven, and apparently the boy has now confessed to it being a lie his parents conjured up to get money? It's a shame really, that people abused him the way they did, and he was such a genius. I even understand his skin thing, because vitiligo is a condition that turns your skin white in big ugly splotches

and MIke bleatched his face to even it out. there's no cure, and no matter how much money he had he couldn't fix that, and that's tragic in itself. He was the truest performer in this world, to me. It was what he was born to do. And i'll be mourning him forever. D: I thought I'd be saying farewell to teh Gloved One when I had tykes of my own! XD But the Lord called hijm home, and he will be infamous, and immortal as he wished to be. R.I.P. Michael Joseph Jackson, I hope you're moonwalkin' on heaven's doorstep
I'm leaving New York for home in the Sunshine State tomorrow, then get to seeing about my computer (yes, it broke indefinitely, even though I was sure nothing was wrong with it) This trip to Georgia for my god brother's funeral was sad. We grew up together, even though he was 3 years older than me. I won't give the details, but he took his own life, and I would rather not talk more about it. I'm visiting my cousins and so much family is up here, I miss the city because the stores are SO MUCH BETTER. I always come here to get some new clothes you can't hope to ever find in Florida. Before New York and after Georgia there was D.C. for the Congressional Art Competition ceremony. IT WAS FRICKIN' HOT

but beautiful all the same. I had seen D.C. with People to People (google it) but not the capitol, and it was lovely, and the art was

It was truly an honor and a privelage to be around such incredible artists. Pictures will be provided ASAP, most likely in one giant deviation...maybe 2. I'd love to post the ones from my fam in Georgia and NY but that's not for me to decide since some are very young.

I haven't had my sketchbook this trip, so I significantly starved for some good sketching, but first a Michael tribute is definitely in order, no matter how long it takes my perfectionist self.

But there are tons of sketches I never got to submit from the last two qaurters of school, so that should tide you over

and then I'm gonna focus on Clockworks this year, as well as some ideas I've got floating around in this nutcase head of mine. So! I hope your summers are filled with sunny days and cool beaches and you aren't as stressed out as my parents are right now from having to cart me around the East Coast XD

with some old and dear friends)
P.S.- I have no clue what these new Journal Skins are about

I'm not savvy with this site. I have no life.

I'm not on the dark side ( they apparently have cookies?), but I have the milk so they need me from time to time.
